Maguire Art Program

Through the Maguire Art Program, we have included original works of art into the interior and exteriors of our properties. We have integrated water fountains and sculptures into the delicately designed outdoor spaces to complement the environment. With the added touches of the Maguire Art Program, our buildings and open spaces are unique, elegant and excellent representations of Maguire Properties.

Highlights of the Maguire Art Program include:

  • The Pacific Arts Plaza features a 1.6 acre outdoor courtyard where a sculpture garden designed by Isamu Noguchi stands.
  • The lobby in the US Bank Tower houses Unity a mixed media mural by Russian born artists Vitaly Komar and Alexander Melamid that depicts the City of Angels.
  • Maguire Gardens, a 1 ˝ acre park that serves as the entrance of the historic Central Library, contains many sculptures and water features, the most prominent of which is Spine by Jud Fine, which includes The Well of Scribes, an homage to Bertram Goodhue's Well.
  • The Gas Company Tower features a working water design by WET Design that flows seamlessly from the lobby into the walls to and into the outdoor plaza.
  • The lobbies of One California Plaza & Two California Plaza are hosts to works on loan from the Museum of Contemporary Art's permanent collection.
  • The Wells Fargo Center hosts in its common areas works by Joan Miró, Robert Graham, Louise Nevelson and Jean Dubuffet
